She is famed for her dusty costumes as desert dwelling Rey in Star Wars. But Daisy Ridley cut a dramatically different figure from her character as she stepped out in London following her appearance on This Morning on Friday.

The actress, 25, looked effortlessly glamorous as she slipped her svelte physique into a teal velvet figure-hugging dress. She added a boost to her leggy frame with matching court shoes and accessorized the stunning ensemble with small silver hoop earrings. The English beauty styled her strawberry-blonde tresses in an elegant chignon and complemented the look with deftly touches of make-up.
